Subject and Association DescriptionHonor began her training at the Barmera District Hospital in 1945, before transferring to Royal Adelaide Hospital and graduating in 1949. After a years as Staff Nurses, Honor worked in hospitals in Melbourne, country South Australia and Perth. In 1955, she returned to Royal Adelaide Hospital as Sister-Tutor (later called Nurse Educator) as the sister-in-charge of the Preliminary Training School, which was based at Austral (Ayers) House. She remained there until she transferred to the General School of Nursing, located in the old Outpatients' Department (Women's Health Building), corner of North Terrance and Frome Road. She remained in this position until 1979.
