LTD., 124 & 126 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, C.1, & 160 Castlereagh Street, Sydney." The needles are marked with "SOLILA" and "R26", one needle is marked with "SOL".
This item was one of several items in a bag that belonged to Doctor Mary Walker, a Scot who came to Adelaide in 1953. Her specialty was Obstetrics and Gynaecology and she worked at the Queen Victoria Hospital until 1979. She would take this bag with her to deliveries. The Hospital's theatre block was named the Mary Walker Wing in her memory.
