About this objectSteel tool, screw in pointed piece that meets another fixed pointed piece. This tool could have been used to push aside or separate teeth for access, perhaps in process of applying gold foil fillings.

These are from the collection of Dr Colin George King, who graduated from Adelaide University in 1938. He is believed to practiced at Lockleys and Mile End and was a Councillor on Thebarton Municipal Council in 1940. The collection was donated to the South Australian Dental Society and the Heritage Office.
